I debarked it. Back has some curvature, but can't be seen well in the picture. Its 1 and 5/8in wide at inner limb, tapering to about 3/8 inch wide at tips. Maybe I'll try to post some pictures with my new camera.
There are some chrysles on the belly but nothing to be concerned about I think.
Lots of folks seem to be wary of Honey locust, but Like it. Its dense, beautiful easy to work (once you get the thorns off) and a thin bow makes a relatively heavy draw weight. This bow at 44# is much thinner than a comparative Red Oak bow at 50 lbs.
