new england primitive skills gathering

woodbury ct june 13 and 14. camping available. 3d non competive course. novilty shots. knapping, bow making, fire starting, baskets, you name it we try and cover everything. its held at my club, algonquin archers. we are there from friday morn till sunday evening. its always a good time. im sure i forgot something. peace

is this the one at algonquin archers? yeah, should be, Jamie, right? I belive you met my pal drew at that native american museum thingy. I've been looking forward to this meet for a long time, can't wait, I hope to gain a lot of knowlage ;D I have some black locust i'd like to try my hand at with guidance, not to mention a red oak board bow i'm in the prosess of tillering. oh, and flint knapping. I was told you wanted to trade for newmanskill chert from upsate new york, I think I still have some left, somewhere.

yes it is at algonquin and bring along anything you have. i warn you though dont give rock to rick unless you need gravel for your fish tank ;D

actualy, I gathered up all the miscillanious knappable substances that aren't "rubble", and the bucket is decently heavy, so I guess you wont have to fight for it  ;D
except the jasper, that's mine... >:D
anyway, i hope to be there from friday afternoon to late sunday, been waitin a year for this and i dont plan to miss a seccond of it

When did the hockey game break out here? :)

I'll be there Saturday morning early, and although I can't stay overnight, Sunday I'll be back with two friends and their son. All of us are looking forward to this event. This will be my third year running.

ok cool, so what would be a good time togo on friday? and if it's like, real late, Ill probobly just show up as early as possible on saturday. So, I guess my question should be, how early can Drew and I show up on saturday?

there will be somebody at the club pretty much all day on friday. we have a lot of cleaning to do. most people start showing up after 5
