His Amazing Horse Bow is March Laminate Bow of the Month

http://www.primitivearcher.com/smf/index.php/topic,11874.0.html
From James: Here is an all wood horse bow .55@29" bamboo back and belly, epi and carbonized bamboo lams, epi riser, spanish cedar syiahs,,48"groove to groove....
I have worked hard  on a couple of  my boo bows and with many failures, it is good when I have sucsess...its one of the hardest designs thus far..that kind of tiller in bamboo was most difficult...I have to give credit where due..herb reynolds was a great teacher he helped me make my first lam bow,and then turnt me loose.also mike treadway was an even greater enfluence and took the time to help me out on what i was doing wrong...and then of course all the years and time i have put into making bows ,and WAISTING a whole lot of money on R and D..I'm glad I have made it this far....

These folks know a skillfully made bow when they see it:
-"Awesome bow!! It would be great in the bush!" - Shadow Walker
-"great bow brother, I had the opportunity to shoot one of those horse bows once... my uncle Dancing Bear had one and taught me to shoot Kasai style speed shooting... I couldn't believe how fast and accurate my shooting was with those little bows.. Thanks for sharing" .....Hawk a/ho
-"Durn, cuz, you're gonna fool around and figure out how to make a bow one of these days if you don't watch it.  That looks like a rocket launcher. You're gonna have to teach me how to shoot with one of those thumb rings, never tried it."- Hillbilly
"Sweet bow. I cant believe you can do that with bamboo and it still looks so good unstrung. If I tried that it would have massive set.  Great work ." -Jesse-S

I got to hold it, and pet it, and rub it , this weekend, and I sure wish it was mine.
