NorthCarolina Traditional Archers 2009 State Shoot
« on: April 27, 2009, 05:35:37 pm »
The Carolina Traditional Archers along with the Catawba Valley Wildlife Club will host this event on May 22, 23, and 24. The event features two, twenty 3D target courses, novelty shoots, free primitive camping, restrooms, hot showers, seminars, and home cooked meals. Trophies will be awarded for men, women and children in longbow, recurve, and primitive classes.  The Catawba Valley Wildlife Club is located on Highway 10 between Highway 18 and Highway 321. Near Hickory. G. Fred Asbell is scheduled to be a guest speaker

There are many primitive shooters there and there is always a bunch of people knapping and making bows. If you are close enough to make it it will be worth youre time. I always have a blast.
For more info you can pm me or look on the CTA website.   www.thecta.org
Will be looking for all you PA members to show up.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intentions of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body. But rather to slide in sideways, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming....WOW WHAT A RIDE!!
