Now that's what I'm talking about!!!  I LOVE it!!!  Dude, you gotta shoot some fish with it, but remember to bring your camera so you can take pics and post them on here, preferably under the hunting thread.  I'm really interested to know how well she performs, and how well your cane fishing arrows work.  Keep us posted!

Seriously Pete, that is a sweet bow! I would love to shoot some Tilapia. Bowfishing is one of my passions with a bow. I want to see that arrow also. I'm hoping to get out soon for the sucker run here in Indiana. Good Shootin to you, Steve

First, thanks for all the kind words. This little bow shoots good and right where you look. The arrow in the picture weighs about 750 grains. It is only good in very shallow water and the conditions  this weekend were'nt favorable for it,though I did work hard to get one with the primitive gear.(see pic)The lake was 7 ft. low and all the flats we usually hunt were high and dry.The fish I took with this rig was probably 2 ft. deep, and that's stretching it for it's light weight. We also had 2" of rain, overcast days, with constant wind with gusts to 35MPH.We did however shoot 35 fish despite these conditions, with our selfbows, homemade reels, but rigged with manufactured fishing arrows .These fish make you hunt them, the way we do it,by wading and stalking. Here's the pictures:

That is awesome! Great bunch of pics. Looks like a really good setup. Put it down on paper and let us read about it in the magazine.
