Here is an bamboo backed Ipe, with a cocobola grip.  67" ntn.  60lbs at 28".  Slight R-D.  white tail antler tips.

bamboo backed Osage trilam.  65lbs @ 28".  68" ntn.  slight R-D. walnut osage handle.  walnut, antler tips.

The osage bow at work.

Bamboo backed, ipe trilam with Osage handle.  68lbs @ 28".  68" ntn. slight R-D with osage, ipe, anlter tips.

Bamboo backed ipe trilam, with curly maple handle.  67" ntn.  50lbs @ 28".  Antler and curly maple tips. Slight R-D.

One last one and I'll leave you fine folks alone. ;D  I will be finishing up the tiller on this this weekend, as well as shaping tips and handle.  It is another bamboo backed ipe trilam, with a mesquite handle and mesquite and antler tips.

Ill be glueing up an all organic lam bow tonight.  It is a bamboo backed, ipe and Osage core, with ipe belly lams.  Ive got the lams cut from all the logs and tapered.  The power lam ground down and will be adding a mosaic strip in the handle, then glue her up.  Ill post the results as soon as I get it done.

Thanks for taking the time to gander at my latest projects.
Burnie.

Very nice work ! Have you ever have trouble with your glued on handles poping off with those abrupt fades ? Looks like they are effective for ya......Congrats!  8)

Never with the trilams.  The only style that took some time to work out, was the top bow with the cocobola handle.  It looks like the handle is glued on a flat stick, but it actually  fades out down the limb.  No bend next to the handle.

Very nice weapons. The bow going to full draw in front of the shed is the BambkOsage? and the full draw in the room is the BBI? Gordon Ferlitsch posted a thread awhile back about picture quality and it shows again in his Guava bow posted this month.
