Wych elm longbow

This is a longbow I made, it started to chrysal in one spot so I made a wood removal and repair, its 40#@27" and a target bow, 71"ntn

Overlays are cowhorn


Handle is moose leather


Fix is made with elm heartwood and wrappings are irish linnen


Here is the bow strung


Here is some pretty, light colored heartwood


Back trapped for speed, cambium layer for looks
