Hey Dana, I am about a days drive south of the Sault. I live in a very small town called Frankford. It's situated on alongside the Trent River. Frankford is where the ministry of natural resources re-introduced the wild turkey into this area, about 10 years ago, I think.
It was a major success and they have populated and spread quite quickly.Unfortunately, we are not allowed to hunt them in Frankford,( it's retained as breeding ground) we have to go to other areas to hunt them. The only place I know where you can see 30 turkeys in nearly every field and can't even get one!
