did some today

i set up in my dinning room and busted rock today, i was cookin rock in my oven so i had to stay home and keep an eye on that, this is what i ended up with.
All of them are made from T.N creek chert.

I would absolutly be dead right now ifin I tried that at my house!

Funny you mentioned cooking rock.I threw a batch in yesterday. Always anxious to let it cool to see what ya got? :)

wow jesse those are awesome. i just picked up some of of that yellowish chalky dover stuff. reminds me of thunderchert with more chalk in it. you did a great job on those

 The fella that knapped on the shag is out of the loop nowadays.Haven't heard from ,or of him for several years now.

came out good, none busted and I've been brave with it.. rampin up to 500* in about 3hrs.. holding for 3hrs and cooling for 3hrs.. i was knappin hot rocks last night.
got a 2nd batch cooling right now.
