Frank: the diameter of the stem was about 12cm / 5".

Comix: It seems, that I either don't build bows for quite a while and when I start again, I make two or three in a row.

Great looking bow.  The detail work on the tips and the grip are great.  Those skins really set it off.  Nice work.

  That turned out great and I would defiantly agree that laburnum is a great bow wood. Just need to be carefull of the toxic dust. It has some beautiful grain and is very strong. Looks like you followed the back very carefully and the character bumps make for an awesome looking bow.  Congratulations on your success.    Keenan

So, here's the matching knive:

I Had a small pieve of snakeskin left, wich braught me to the idea to use it with a knivesheath. The knive is made from the same stuff than the bow, laburnum und buffalohorn. The spacers are nicklesilver.
The Blade is handforged by Gunnar Bergström from Sweden.
