Hillbilly - Hickory is not easy to get here , espesialy bow quality ... !!!!!
I get myn'e from a local wood merchant who deals in rear woods , he gets in maybe every five years and I have to go through hundreds of boards to find maybe one or two that I can use, then I have to wait until his stock is finished before he gets in some more. Just had five bows break on me one after the other due to a bad batch of hickory that I have just bought ...

Trying to find a local wood that can work but haven't found anything that matches hickory yet
