This bow is for my girlfriend, that’s why a pink wood was first choice.

Yes, I am from Germany and a lot of the guys from Fletchers Corner are members of PA.
I love recurved bows and the design of Russell Willcox is great for a laminated all wood bow.
I made bamboo backed duoflex-bows of locust, elder and actionboo. Elder is the wood I am using in most cases as belly. It grows everywhere here and it is a very forgiving wood. Osage and yew is not so easy to receive here. For experiments these woods are to expensive.

Width at the fades 1 27/32“ (47mm) and 17/32 (13mm) at the tips
I use dry heat for the bamboo/actionboo and steam for most woods. I only bend the recurves a little bit. I give the bow his ultimate shape in the gluing-process. That’s why I think it has a Perry reflex. On my first duoflex bows I used a form for the recurves, but now I made a form for the whole bow (pic1).
I’m still shooting my first duoflex (pic2) bamboo/elder 62#at28”, but after 3 years his stringfollow got bigger and now I want a new one.
