Boo backing, Solvent for glue?

I just glued my bamboo backing onto my juniper and now I realized that I did not have enough clamps and this isn't going to work
Can I soak it in water or something to get the glue off so I can save these pieces? Thanks!

What glue did you use? If Tite-Bond glue, you can heat the bow up to 150deg(F) and the glue will release. If Urac, you are stuck(
) with it.
I wouldn't think that juniper would be strong enough in compression for a boo backing.

If you clue the backing on again use strips of inner tubes and wrap them tightly around the the bow starting from the grip to the tips.
