Guys I am working on my first take down bow. I am ready to glue on the fittings. What is the best glue that will bond both with the metal and wood. Dean

Clean metal, fresh clean wood and JB Weld? opinions?
I have made long lasting repairs to cast iron tool bodies with JB Weld. If you need to get it off it is real work to do so. piper

I used expoxy on the last one I did.Just be sure everything fits before you apply it.Then be ready to work pretty fast.I got it a Lowe's I think and came in a syringe with the 2 side by side.

i think any epoxy would work, just be sure you don't glue your sleeve's together or let epoxy run into the sleeve. that will cause problems later.
