SCRAPING IN TILLER
« on: March 04, 2009, 12:21:45 pm »
Asking for advise on the next bow, is it a bad idea to scrape on the belly of the bow while its in a little tiller. Any bad effects that could come of this ?

Once I have a bow braced I tiller it while its braced, don't see that it hurts anything and saves on the stresses of
bracing and unbracing a bow.

I do the same as Dana, but once in awhile i'll unbrace it to let it relax some...i was just thinking about this last night while i was scraping on a bow.
