Hafting a Point

Anyone ever used tight bind to haft a point? I got a spear I am making and I would like just to be able to use something easy and simple rather than mixing up hide glue. It wont be used for nothing but a wall orniment. Now I do use hide glue and pine pitch for my hunting arrows and such.

I have used it over a wet sinew wrap, just wiped it on with my finger, seems to hold fine.

Works fine and is waterproof. TB also has a liquid hide glue that works well.
