I don't know how many of you knew Dane Martin. He was a friend of mine I used to Knapp with over at his home in Arlington, WA before he moved back to his property back east. He put out"Chips" along with Mary Martin, his wife and D.C. Waldorf.
Just talked with him a few weeks ago and he mentioned he had survived and Aortic Aneurysm. This is something that the majority of people do not survive. He sounded great at the time. Just found out on Paleo Planet BB that he passed away the evening of the 25th.
Great guy I wish you all could have gotten to know and I could have gotten to know better.
