Very nice bows Jesse.  I especially like the looks of hers.   From what I hear, that Boo/Ipe is a fast combo.

If I ever make anything like that, I'd like to try a Boo backed, ERC core and Ipe belly.  In theory it should be sweet. ???

She's mighty pretty Jesse...and her bow look's great too!  ;D Very nice work on both of bows. I really like the finish work, and those elk tips look good...Pappy just got half a elk rack so maybe he'll share. I like your wifes grip a lot, and the laminating job on yours really sets it off. Bet they both shoot sweet! ;)

They both look fantastic Jesse, very nicely done and great attention to details.
Really like the grip on your wifes bow its very distinctive. Can't hardly wait to shoot them at Pappy's :)
Even the pink one :o ;) :D Looks like spring is there down yer way Jesse ;)

Thanks guys much appreciated.
Rich and Medicineweel yeah it is fast so Im happy ;D. Shooting 50# is actually kinda nice. One advantage to this bow is it's very light physical weight.  Saw filer I would think the erc would make a nice core being so light. If I were to make another I might taper the center core so tillering would be easier.
Thanks Pappy see ya in spring. Thanks David ,Thanks Timo, Thanks Pat, Thanks Greg my wife also thanks you for the compliment. Thanks Dana you have to wrestle with Angie for it. She can be tough  ;D notice shes not having much trouble with the 40# :D

Howdy Jesse,

"Craftmenship", "Sculpted handle", "Boo/Ipe is a fast combo", "I really like the contrast between the woods", "the elk overlays"..., you have a doubler, a couple of really nice bows with the right amount of whistles and bells, and that unique arrow rest makes it look fast.

Thank you for sharing your bows and bow making skills,

Fantastic looking bows, each one is more beautiful than the last!
Ipe / Bamboo is one of the finest combinations for laminated bows.
