Well.......after much heatin, bendin, scrapin, scratchin, scrappin, kickin, screamin, cussin, fussin, and last but not least...alcohal buzzin...Mullets bow is tillered!!!! Wow, this thing kicked my butt on several occasions. I wont be posting any pics cuz thats when the last limb broke :P. I stopped at 50# @ 25" and left the tips thick and with some width so the next feller (Chris) could do what he wants with em. Eddie, I think you were wantin 55# @ 26.5. Is that right? Never mind, Im sendin this cursed frankenstien of a bow on :P ::) :D....Brian

Ok, got that off my chest. ;D All jokes a side, Eddies stave has taught me more about bow biuldin than all my other bows combined.
1. learned what its like when a bow blows dramatically (thanks eddie, you owe me some new shorts)
2. learned how to do a w-splice, when the bow blows dramatically (thanks eddie)
3. learned how to heat treat a belly, when the bow blows dramatically and you w-splice on a new limb that has a high ratio of spring growth (thanks eddie)
4. learned that tiller sometimes has very little to do with lookin good( you'll see)
5. learned that I still need to learn alot more
6. and lastly....osage is better( thanks RyanO)

Brian ;D

The limbs don't have the same braced profile but they come together during draw??? Shoots awesome even with oversized tips. This stave has definitely put me to the test....ENDEAVER TO PERSEVERE....Brian

Brian, that's funny. Maybe if everybody that's sitting on a pile of wood brings it to Pappy's we can make some progress. One thing, By the time they are done ,the wood will be cured for sure. And we might be too old to shoot them.
