Thats ok Justin, seems there's always a pecking order in every situation. Just think If we are all a bunch of turkeys then Pat would still be the rulling Tom with that long beard and all.

Well I got back to work yesterday,Got the nocks cut in the Vine Maple and am ready to start tillering.I got Pat's braced and out to 19 in. I am going to show some pictures ,yall tell me what you think.I am not real sure on the tiller on this stile bow. The only one I have ever made was
a Osage,56 in.flat bend through the handle and I made it bend all the way ,but not as much through the handle.This was bending like a half circle,is this the way it should be done.I have
never worked with white Oak so I ant sure about this but it seem to loose weight pretty fast.It acts like it is green even tho it is dry.I got it out to 19 in. and it was about 32lbs.but seems to be loosing it fast so I put it in the hot box for a day or 2 to see if that helps.Give me some advice I
don't want to loose it or have it turn into a kids bow if I can help it. :-\The first pic. is the first
brace then out to 15 and then brace again then out at 19/20.

I never made a bend in the handle bow. But that one sure seems to bend a lot in the middle to me. I would make the outer limbs bend a little more. But like I said, I have never done one either. Justin

Thats kind of what I was thinking but wasn't sure.Maybe someone that dose these regular
will chime in.I don't have a lot to work with as far as weight goes if the last6/7 in. go away as quick as the first did.

Pappy, I guess it varies from person to person, but I like them to just barely bend in the handle. If they bend too much there, a little set can turn into a lot, and it'll jar your teeth out to shoot it.
