Ya'll makin my head hurt. lol. The stave Im sendin to Chris already has bark and sapwood removed( only peice I had cured enuff), so I might be putting a kink in the plans already....Brian

Aw we will get it figured out about the time we get finished.I plan on getting the one I got to a growth ring laid out ,floor tillered and it needs some serious straightening I was going to do that also and then pass it on.There should be plenty for the others from there.

WOW! Pappy, that stave got almost 20 rings to da inch! Are ya testin the new guy?lol. Finally got to a solid ring on the back,(tested my patience abit tho). Got her laid out, gonna rough her out and hopefully floor tiller Saturday. ;D

Gonna try to get some work done on Pat and Justin's today, still gotta run to the PO and send my stave out to Eddie. It's 15 degrees here right now, it should be quite invigorating out in the unheated shop.

Brian, A piece of thin walled PVC pipe works well if there is not to much reflex in the stave. I've used 3" and 4" for shipping bows. Glue a cap on one end and just tape the cap on the other end.     Pat

Mullet I got it to a growth ring,laid out cut out and straightened Sat.It need a little more tweeking but I should have it ready to go to the next guy mid week.I will post some pictures of where it began and where it is now tomorrow when I get to work.It had a few checks in it ,got most of them out .Looks like it will make a fine bow.

 Fantastic Pappy,I had a stave with great 1/2" growth rings but didn't know at the time if anybody wanted to play with one with a hole in the limb.I wasn't sure about the stave you have,it was an Ebay rip-off stave from 3 years ago.Looking forward to getting Hillbilly's.
