New to making bows need help

i'm making a bow and i made it from yew it's live yew not dead and i shaped it alittle bit and cut nothes and used thin nylon rope for string. but it only fireing like 10 ft please help

First thing you have to do is Kill it.
I don't understand what you are saying.Have you got it strung,do you mean it is still green ? Little more info would help and pictures would be nice if you can do that.

like Pat says,the problem is you've used live (Green) wood, you have to season it first
