Hunting in Ione Washington

I'll be retiring up there in a few years.My wife and I bought land in 2004.I shoot Longbows and Flintlocks mostly.I build Red Oak bows right now, but will be trying my hand at English longbows this spring.The WDFW only gives some info,I was hoping for someone local up there. ;D

We have quite a few members from Washington and Oregon. One of them should chine in soon with some helpful info for you.

Runningbear, are you wanting info on English Warbows or The Victorian hunting target bows. For the warbows heres a link to a build along.

Hi. I don't know where that is I live in the southwest corner ( Longview) myself. we have deer elk and bear the only thing is you have to chose bow or muzzleloader or I guess you could go with modern firearms I have taken most or my dear and the two elk with muzzleloders. Well have fun eather way you go .

It's above Spokane about 70 miles,22 miles below the Canadian border on Highway 31.

Runningbear, I plan on moving to Wenatchee area sometime this spring . I lived there in the mid seventies around there a person can find grouse (blue and ruffed),Blacktail,Muleis and bear. And of course the fishing is pretty good too.Can't wait to read your posted about your area might plan a trip up to that area.

When My wife and I were looking for land we saw Whitetails,Mulies,and one small Moose.
