Just wondering about the laws involving primitive archery and bowhunting in Australia. Is it considered okay to hunt ferals with selfbows in that country.

I know that my Buddy Grahame over in Australia hunts Deer....Goats....and Hogs with the Bows that I have built Him and His Boys....so I would say that it is Legal in all of Australia....I am sure an Aussie will chime in here as soon as He sees His Home in the Topic though....

bushman452- go for your life. there are no restrictions on bowhunting in australia. except perhaps a minimum draw weight and arrow mass for sambar deer and hog deer in victoria and new south wales. what it is i don't know. as for primitive gear, all systems go. bows are not regulated in oz. are you considering going there? where are you now?
