New Christmas trade bow scores..
« on: January 11, 2009, 10:19:25 pm »
Went out hunting bunnies today with my youngest boy Josiah.. took my new bow made by Kegan.. good medicine in the bow, shot two on the run and later two more sitting within seconds of one another.. Josiah got one also with his self bow.. we both used arrows made with the turkeys feathers we just harvested a week ago... gotta love the action and fun of hunting bunnies with my boy ;D makes me feel like a kid again....Hawk a/ho

Savor it Mike, because if memory serves me right , your boys are some real deadeyes when it comes to the rabbits! ;D
That is just awesome using a wonderful new bow and fresh fletchings to add to the mojo.

It is my honor to shoot a bow made by such a fine young man whitewoodshunter... and Tracy you got it bro, the mojo is good, but you are right the boys will soon catch up on me with rabbit harvests.. I don't stand a chance with those two in the field with me... I tried bringing Wolf Watcher along for some moral support but he and I both ended up looking bad at the days end ;D ;) Hawk a/ho

Sorry I missed that hunt with Josiah and your new bow.  Oh well at least I didn't have to get embarrassed by being out shot by Josiah.  The bow looks like a keeper.  Pretty soon Stacy will have enough bows to choose from that you won't be without a shooting stick!!  Bet those bunnies will taste just fine! Have you wing shot any ducks yet this season?  Watcher
