Thanks ya'll.  Yeah, those expanded notch Ishi points are a real challenge to make.  I still blow them out at times.  The one in the photo is the best one I've made so far.  glad ya like them.

     Beautiful!  Like Hillbilly, I usually pop off the ears.  I had a nice point going tonight, and I was trying to get that notch just a little bit further, and instead of the ear popping off, the point split diagonally.  Oh dirty words, and naughty names, I done did it again!  I wasn't a happy camper, but I picked up another piece of rock, and started again.  Seeing those, keeps me wanting to try to " Get There! " Again very nice work.

I learned a few tips from Steve on the closed entry notching, but most of it I just learned over years of doing it... I've had very few formal lessons.  Probably explains why it took me so damn long to learn how to do it!  there are lots of knappers who are better than me and they haven't been at it as long...
