David, I haven't spliced any billets in a few years now so I'll have to dig those billets up and check them out. I guess its about time to try a splice again.

What I meant to say is even bad Osage is better than most other woods.....
Some peices are most certainly better than others. I've made good bows out of some knarley osage that lots of people might have used for fire wood.
