Hey everyone! This is the osage I've been working on for a while now. It's 58"ntn, asymetrical (a 1st for me), and a recurve. Because of the way the grain ran in the stave, I had to lay the bow out in kind of a curved shape. Actually, both limbs angle off to the left of the handle when you look from the belly side. I have not shaped the handle at all, so that I could see what to do after I found out where the string falls on the handle. It looks like it falls just down the left side of the fades, which would be quite a way from the handle if you put it in the middle of the limbs. I would like for the string to fall a little to the left to make it more center-shot, but I think this is too much. It also looks like the upper limb(longer) goes farther off center than the lower. In the pic below the upper limb is on the left. Tell me what you think and what is the best way to fix it. Thanks for the help.
