 I was on a knife making roll yesterday untill I broke the tanto. This one has purple streaks running through it you can't see in the pictures.The triangle point is Obsidean also and the Adena type is a green glass with inpregnated copper flakes, looks cool, it sparkles.

Very nice points! Once yall have it figured out, one of you need to write a book titled...How to make perfect flint heads everytime in three easy steps!  ;D

Step 1: one year of continuous practice
Step 2: 5 years of continuous practice
Step 3: see steps 1 & 2

Except I haven't met anybody who can make them perfect every time...there always seems to be that one flake you are trying to remove that gets 'ya.

You got the practice part right for sure.  You lose feel when you take time off.

The best part is when I get one close to perfect even remotely descent I drop it on the concrete.  :'(
