Glue in self nocks?

How many of you make glue in nocks for your cane arrows?  What is the process you use and what materials do you use.  Would love to see some jigs that you may use to make them

I have made a few by using a section of a hardwood shaft, say 1" or so, and just chuck it up in a drill and file it until you get the step down diameter you need for the insert portion. Then glue it in the shaft, and proceed as normal.

I've made a few from antler, horn, or hardwood- pretty much the same method as scattershot. I only use them on fancy "sunday-go-to-meetin' " arrows, cane is plenty strong enough for self-nocks, so I usually just cut them straight into the cane.

Progress might have been all right once but it's gone on for far too long.

I like to make mine from antler tips.  All you need is a vise and a file (I use a metal file).  Clamp the tip in the vise and round out the insert part of the nock (keep it centered), then cut off the desired length with a hacksaw.  I like to cut in the string groove with the nock mounted in a spare piece of cane, then do final shaping when it is permantly mounted in the shaft. It is alot of fun and looks good to boot.
