Nice osage bow 1/2 primitive! I never realized how many great knifemakers are here at PA. I think I'm one of the few that doesn't, maybe I'll have to start soon.

 It's a neat plains style quiver made from a nice blacktail deer skin. 
 I was thinking of buying a quiver like this, I guess I won't have to now.

I received a parcel from Eddie Parker. Thank you so much for a nice choker and a nice mahagony obsidian knife. Where is the home area of the knifes`handle? (tree). And: how does the tree look?

I’m glad Patrick likes the atlatl, and don’t worry about the spear. Stuff breaks.

That is a really heavy atlatl. I based it on the Great Basin weapon, and this was my first time working with soapstone, which I got from a guy out in Angels Camp, California (where Mark Twain wrote about leaping frogs). The wood is Osage, and the bone I made the hook from came from Dave’s Soda and Pet City (they sell soda and pet supplies, weird eh?). I almost couldn’t bear to part with it. :)

Holy Cow I just got the most amazing gift from Cromm.....  will post pics asap...
