 I second what JJ just said. Very nice bow Jesse. Dye job is great and the tiller is spot on.

Thanks Jawge. You've given me a lot of help.
in da u.p. Thanks-- I rubbed some oil on the wood and used a heat gun to take some propeller twist out and to align the tips. Also cooked the belly a bit to stiffen it up. Thats a real brief description there is a bit more to it but not much :)  Im about 40min south of menominee MI.

Wow! What everyone else has said too. That is a beauty. I'm working on an Osage recurve right now and was thinking about dying it with Rit. I think you've talked me into it now. Does Osage take dye well?

Thanks Okie1 I never tried to dye osage  it has such a great natural color. Try on a scrap piece.

Brian a Troll lives below da bridge in da lower peninsula, a cheesehead lives in Wisconsin, a sotahead is over in da Minnysota

Beautiful bow. I think mapel is my favorite wood! I am assuming that it is hard maple. Thanks for sharing it with us.
