First Hickory Board Bow: Input Welcome!!
« on: December 23, 2008, 08:49:59 pm »
Here is a link to a photobucket. It contains pics of a Hickory board bow that I am making.
It is 66" tip to tip and backed with Kaki Slacks Material. I have it pulled to 56# @18" currently.
Shooting for 50-60# @ 28"
Thank you for your comments.

Roofus, your tiller is lookin purty good, left limb might need just a hair more bendin just outside the fades but that could just be the angle of the pic. Go slow with long light scrapes from fade to just a few inches short of the tips...your almost there ;). Good luck....Brian

Looks real good. I think it should be bending a bit more in the outer limb on the right. could bend a bit more in the fade on the left as well. mid limb is bending the most. especially on the right but its looking real good :)

Post it on this site when you have it all done.

Looks good but get more of that near handle wood bending to make what you need for your draw length. Jawge
