Did a little more scraping on the inner halfs plus tips. Better but could use more. After 150 pulls plus a few doz. shots the handle stays on and it's 52#'s.
Took her outside to shoot at 18 yards. MAN! No wonder some of you are wild about ipe/boo. I've been shooting a 50# Viper Deluxe 'glass longbow, but this bow shoots with at least the same authority with a 540 grain arrow. Didn't have to adjust my elevation.
So you end up with a nicer-looking bow that looks like it belongs in the woods, and spits out an arrow
that'll take down deer.
