For anyone who know's Bill Metcalfe and hasn't heard yet. He died of lung cancer back in June. I just found out yesterday and wanted to pass it along. He was a really nice guy, a great knapper and a world class bser. He'll be missed.

Had heard that back in june,he will be missed. He was great to watch, working rock and really liked getting kids interested in knapping. He could tell some stories too! Im gonna miss that most of all.

Was aware of that, too bad. I'd never met him but had chatted some online with him. Mike: I'm in Killeen for the next couple of days, thinking about rounding up some flint (like I need more
). Where's your honey hole
?
