According to Chips the Ochlockonee River Stone Age & Primitive Arts Festival and the Dade Knappin will be held the same week and weekend Feb 6-8.  That weekend is prior to the Dade dates.  Watcher

 Roger, Claude will know. I've tried to contact the people in charge , and they are pi$$ poor about getting back in touch. I was going to set up and camp last year but never heard back from them. They want Claude there so they stay in touch with him.

 Yep, that's where most everybody will be. That's where the knap-in at Paynes Prairie kinda moved to when the Ranger transfered. The No-Seeums will carry you off there, so go prepared.

     Piper;
     Get yourself a " Thermal Cell "  Best thing ever invented for skeeters, and sand gnats, ( no see ums ).  Get them at Wally world, or Walgreen's.  Get the extra fuel, and tabs too.  They are great for hunting, camping etc.  The units cost about $ 20.00, and the replacement fuel and tabs, cost about $ 6 - 7.00 . Well worth it.  I have one in my truck all the time.  Never know when you will need it.  I have the extra fuel and tabs also.  They also make little votive candle like sets also for the patio, and such.

I've been thinking about trying to make that one this year-it would be a good break from the snow and cold. Curt, you interested in carpooling? You can drive, and I'll drink a lot to prepare for the skeeters. ;D
