Yes, great story and with equipment you made - keep it simple.

Thanks for posting the pic. of that quiver. I'm a little concerned that a cane (or bamboo) casing would cause some noise while I'm stalking along thought the brush  or even while I'm trying to pull out an arrow as a deer approaches.

I think I'm going to have to go with a leather quiver.

Good choice for leather,it's much quieter.I just kinda got in the habit of grabbing the little cane quiver when headin' to the deer stand.It's fine for small game,or stumpin',but not for stalkin' deer.Thanks,and God Bless
