You guys are killing me!  It's all I can do just to get a point of some sort of acceptable level, and that takes me hours to do.  You are the Man, that is for sure.  Dang!  those are nice.  Only thing that I would've done, "IF" I had the skill you have, is I would have moved the groove in the hawk head, more towards the pointed end, to have more of an axe, and more for re-edging after use.
"Why, as I have heard Eddie say so many times," " Holey Moley!! " ;D :D

Paul:  Someday you will have to bring your family up to Wyoming for a visit!  Mike Huston can show you the country and do some hunting, fishing, sight seeing or just setting around beating up on rocks.  I have a pallate full of flints and it would be great to watch you do some of that bashing you are always talking about.  Your skill level is unbelievable!  Watcher     The staves you sent are awesome and scare me to death knowing I will no doubt make kindling out of them.  Thanks

Thanks all! Haven't posted in last few days with puter down :-\. Joe: Man I'd love to pay a visit, never know what the future will bring. Those staves aught to make some fine bows with time, enjoy :).
