Tip overlays /Tite bond 3

Ive been using TB3 for all my tip overlays for a year now, I noticed in another thread that apoxy and super were used am I still ok using TB3?

Titebond 3, and all of them, for that matter are excellent glues. I have used them all, and Titebond 3 is supposedly best for oily, exotic woods (like osage orange, for example) and it has a longer open time than the others. The two most important factors with titebond glues are-clean, non greasy, non dusty surfaces, and good clamping pressure.

I prefer TB3 over super glue or epoxy.

I like TB3 also ,but I am sure any of the 3 will work just fine.

I really like titbond 3 for many uses.  I generally use the 10 min epoxy for overlays.  I have a little more faith in it for an area under pressure like the bow tips.  It might not be necessary but it makes me a little more comfortable.

Majority good I'll keep using TB3,if I was using plastics or glass I guess I would use Other. Thanks. PK

TB is plenty strong enough-just make sure you have a really good mating of gluing surfaces. On wood-to-wood, the glueline is supposed to be stronger than the wood itself.

I have used TBII for tip overlays and also super glue. I have never had any trouble with either and I prefer super glue because of the quicker drying time.
